Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Medical Assistant (MA)
Keystone Family Clinic always looking for good people to join our team. We are a small, independent primary care medical office with no affiliation with the local hospital systems. Our ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience working as an LPN or a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinic or hospital setting. We are willing to consider fresh graduates, but we suggest you attach a letter of recommendation to your resume from your student clinical rotation supervisor.

- Take vitals, room patients, take accurate medical histories.
- Answer phone messages from patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and medications.
- Input patient information into the EMR.
- Maintain medication lists and refill patient prescriptions.
- Assist the providers with procedures.
- Administer shots.
- Perform finger sticks and other laboratory testing, including swabbing patients for COVID-19.
- Light cleaning / disinfecting.
- Basic office tasks such as filing paperwork, faxing, copying, filling out forms.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of Arkansas. (Certification for MA)
- Prior experience in the medical field.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with patient privacy regulations.
- Pleasant phone manners and excellent communication skills.
- Compassion and patience for the patients in your care.
- Proficiency in all basic computer skills with the ability to learn our electronic medical records system.
